Roof Systems

Robertson has numerous roof profiles including a standing seam roof system like the very popular Double Lok system and fasten through system using the PBR profile. In situations where higher R values are required, the RTS system is the premium roof system and utilizes a concealed fastener system of the standing seam roof with higher clips to allow for more insulation.

Standing Seam Roof Systems

A Robertson standing seam roof is one of the most durable and weathertight roof systems available in the industry.

There are two types of standing seam metal roof systems: vertical leg structural standing seam metal roof systems and trapezoidal structural standing seam metal roof systems.

Vertical Leg Structural Standing Seam Metal Roof Systems
The LokSeam®, BattenLok® HS, SuperLok® and Curved BattenLok® standing seam metal roof systems blend the aesthetics of an architectural panel with the strength of a structural panel.

Trapezoidal Structural Standing Seam Metal Roof Systems
The field-seamed system, Double-Lok® and snap-together system, Ultra-Dek®, are designed for strength, durability and weatherability.

Concealed Fastening Systems
Robertson's standing seam metal roof systems can be used with a variety of concealed fastened clips, including UL-rated clips. These clips hold the panels firmly in place without unsightly exposed fasteners. Each clip system offers the ability to accommodate thermal movement.

Weathertight Roof Systems
Special clips are available allowing for thermal roof expansion and contraction during extreme temperature changes. All trim is both weathertight and aesthetically pleasing, giving the roof a nice finished appearance.

Factory-applied sealant in the panel sidelap ensures a tight, secure weathertight lap whether it is a snap-together or field-seamed system.

The Robertson Thermal System (RTS)

The Robertson Thermal System (RTS) provides energy efficiency and a finished interior appearance. Accommodating up to 12″ of uncompressed insulation, RTS provides an effective thermal barrier for energy efficient roof and wall construction.

RTS consists of an exterior panel and a liner panel, separated by thermal spacers. Various thicknesses of metal building insulation can be accommodated between the two panels with minimum through-metal contact.

RTS reduces heat loss through the envelope compared to traditional metal building insulation systems so that smaller heating/cooling units that consume less energy may be used, reducing initial and building operating costs. RTS helps control condensation through vapor retardation. The interior liner panel supports and protects insulation while providing an attractive, easy-to-clean interior finish.

Intended for both new and retrofit construction, cost-effective RTS is easily customized to provide the level of energy efficiency required for your building. Download the RTS information brochure for more information.

Exposed Fastening Roof Panels

Robertson offers several different exposed fastner metal roofing panel profiles. Some of these exposed fastner metal roofing panels can also work as wall panels and some can be used for both vertical and horizontal applications. Each exposed fasten metal roofing panel provides its own unique profile, offering many design options.

The PBR panels's deep ribs create an even-shadowed appearance. The area between the major ribs is reinforced with minor ribs. PBR is one of the most economical panel systems and can be used for both roof and wall applications.
